CELEBRATE EARTH DAY WITH WASTE MANAGEMENT
Waste Management Invites Community Members to April 17 Event

Simi Valley, April 2, 2010 - Waste Management proudly invites Ventura County residents and beyond to come enjoy a free event featuring fun activities this Earth Day, April 17 at the Simi Valley Landfill and Recycling Center.

The event, which is scheduled from 10am - 2pm, will features activities such as landfill tours, demonstrations by our falconer, music and refreshments, kids crafts, a bouncy house and the grand unveiling of the nature trail in our new pollinator garden. This event is free to the public and is sure to include something fun for everyone in the family!

The event will also offer a lawnmower trade-in event, allowing Ventura County residents to turn in their working, gas-powered lawnmower to receive a $200 voucher for a cordless electric mower.
